Fitbit has announced the second generation of its Versa smartwatch with several useful improvements.

The watch received an OLED display with the Always-On functionDisplay, the same square body, a larger battery that will last up to 5 days of device operation, and a more powerful processor. They don't say which one exactly.

The new product was equipped with an NFC chip with a proprietary payment cardFitbit Pay system, heart rate sensor and water protection (up to 50 meters). One customizable button was placed on the side of the watch. There is still no GPS module in the Fitbit Versa 2. Therefore, you will always have to connect the watch to your smartphone to track your activity.

Of the features of Versa 2, we can note the built-in Amazon Alexa assistant, as well as support for the Spotify streaming service.

Price and when to wait
The new Fitbit smartwatch goes on sale on September 15, but you can pre-order it now. For the regular version they will ask $200, and for the version with an additional strap included - $220.
