Five private companies will begin testing Russians for antibodies to coronavirus

Antibody tests will be of two types - qualitative ones indicate the presence or absence of antibodies,

and quantitative - their concentration. With the help of tests, you can find out both your early (IgM) and late antibodies (IgG).

Antibody testing in the first half of Maywill start the Helix laboratory service. They will be held in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg. The cost of a quantitative test will be 4 thousand rubles, of a qualitative test - 2 thousand rubles.

In the second half of May, tests for antibodies will be done by the medical company Invitro. The cost of the analysis for people without symptoms of SARS will be 950-3500 rubles, depending on the region.

By the end of May, such tests will be launched by Gemotest and KDL, as well as LabQuest. The cost of analysis from these companies is not specified.

Now in Russia mass testing for antibodiesCoronavirus is carried out only for doctors using the test system of the Novosibirsk “Vector”. Also on a small scale, the Israeli clinic “Hadassah Medical” in Skolkovo is engaged in such studies.
