The LetsGoDigital publication showed renderings of a possibledevices. The “Slide” in the name means that it is a smartphone with a slide-out display. That is, like other folding models, the principle of operation is simple: when folded, you get a regular smartphone, and when you pull out part of the structure, you get a gadget resembling a tablet in size.

The Galaxy Z Slide is probably similar in designon the Galaxy Z Roll, like the Z Fold and Z Flip. Perhaps the only difference between them is that one has a vertically stretchable display, while the other has a horizontally stretchable display.
