For Russian rescuers created a computerized helmet

The Radioelectronic Technologies company, which is part of Rostec, spoke about its latest development

— a prototype helmet for rescuers with support for augmented reality technologies.

It is reported that the presented system consists of several modules: a mobile workplace, a quadcopter and an operator's device. They called the novelty "Smart Hands".

The novelty is an interactive helmets combined into a system that can receive a picture from a quadrocopter and communicate with the control center.

According to the engineers of the concern, the mobile workingplace gathers together information about the environment. Together with its help, employees can exchange audio and video information, graphic and thermal imaging data, diagrams and technical documentation.

The helmet also has a built-in thermal imager. With it, rescuers can more successfully search for people under the rubble.
