Kantar has published lists of the best-selling smartphones in the world for the fourth quarter of 2022

In the US, the best-selling iPhone 14 Pro Max from September to December 2022. The top 5 included the standard model, the Pro version, as well as the very old iPhone 11 and the year before last iPhone 13.
In China, it was the iPhone 13 that was most often bought. They tried to keep up with the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. But in fifth place suddenly was Huawei nova 10.
Residents of Australia preferred the new generation Pro and Pro Max versions. The top 5 includes the iPhone 11 and iPhone 14, as well as the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.
In Japan, the iPhone SE (2022) suddenly became the bestseller. It outsold the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 13. The Google Pixel 6a entered the top five, finishing in 4th place.

Apple smartphones were the leaders in fourregions out of five. Only in Europe the best-selling smartphone is not the iPhone. Samsung Galaxy A13 was the most popular. Moreover, Samsung Galaxy A53 5G took the 3rd place in sales. Together with them, the iPhone 13, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 11 got into the top 5.
