Four Popular Xiaomi Smartphones 2019-2020 will no longer receive MIUI updates

The list of Xiaomi smartphones that have stopped receiving software updates has been expanded

four devices. All of them were announced in 2019-2022.

What is known

Xiaomi completed the life cycle of Redmi Note 8 andRedmi Note 8T. Moreover, in the case of the first model, the company marked versions for different regions in the End of Support (EOS) list. Both smartphones were announced in the second half of 2019 and received Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI 10 shell.

Two more models are called Redmi 8A Dual and Redmi K30 Racing 5G. They came out in the first half of 2020. The first smartphone received Android 9.0 Pie and MIUI 10, and the second received Android 10 and MIUI 11.

The Redmi K30 5G Racing feature is a rare Snapdragon 768G processor. This chip is used only in our hero, as well as in OPPO K9 5G, ZTE S30 Pro, iQOO Z3 and realme Q3 Pro Carnival Edition.
