What to expect
Ukraine will receive the Mamba system from its allies. According to French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu, the air defense system will be delivered to Ukraine in the spring.

The Mamba SAM (SAMP-T) is an air defense systemmedium-range defense, created by a joint French-Italian consortium. It is capable of fighting not only aircraft, but also cruise missiles and (most importantly) ballistic missiles. The complex uses Aster 30 Block 1 missiles and can fire 8 such missiles in just 10 seconds. SAMP/T is capable of tracking up to 16 targets simultaneously, with a target detection range of up to 400 km.
