France will give Ukraine 25 light infantry fighting vehicles AMX-10P

France continues to help Ukraine and is preparing a new package of military assistance for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to a journalist from the French publication L’opinion, France is going to transfer the AMX-10P infantry fighting vehicle to Ukraine. We are talking about 25 combat vehicles.

AMX-10P is a light French combat vehicleinfantry, produced by GIAT. The first deliveries of the AMX-10P began in 1973. For several decades it was one of the lightest infantry fighting vehicles in the world. She boasts buoyancy and a hull made of aluminum armor plates. The AMX-10P protects the crew from small arms fire and debris from small caliber artillery shells. The IFV was withdrawn from service by the French Army in 2015.
