The French Cycling Federation notedthat if the initiative really works, they will be the first country in the world to initiate the exchange of old cars for more sustainable modes of transportation. However, as the chief specialist of the Finnish Cycling Federation Martti Tulenheimo notes, a similar system operates in their country: citizens finance the purchase of more than 2 thousand bicycles, as well as a thousand new low-emission cars.
