Frozenbyte has announced a continuation of the Trine – platformer series. Trine 5: Clockwork Conspiracy

Finnish developer Frozenbyte has announced the next game in the Trine – Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy due out

later this year:

Trine– this is episode 2.5D side-scrolling puzzle platformers (with the exception of Trine 3D, which was in some weird 3D and was poorly received by players) starring a wizard, a knight, and a thief, each with a unique appearance and abilities. Together they go on heroic adventures through a fairy-tale world.

The game will have 20 levels to explore “from sparkling caves filled with gems to dangerous underwater passages” and solo or local/online co-op for up to three people.

Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy is scheduled for release this summer and will be available on PC (Steam, Epic Games, GOG).

The latest game in the series, Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince, was released in 2019 and was well received by the players, so we hope that the successor will not disappoint either.
