According to MacRumors, the actual headphonesAirPods Pro 2 will retain the same design as the existing model. The publication refers to an unverified source and provides images of the new headphones and their charging case.

It looks like the new headphones use the samethe very design incorporating the short stem as well as the same silicone eartips. Judging from the images, it looks like Apple has ditched the optical sensor.

But the charging case is noticeably different.There are speaker holes on each side of the Lightning port at the bottom of the charging case. According to the source, this will allow users to play audio through the charging case's speakers using the Find My app. In addition, there appears to be a metal loop on the side for attaching a strap.
