Sony has not yet decided to show the PlayStation 5, but is ready to announce the first games for the next generation console.

Gearbox Publishing stopped by The Game Awardsintroducing Godfall - the first game for PlayStation 5. If you believe the description, then the developers from Counterplay Games are preparing a third-person looter-slasher in a fantasy setting with an emphasis on melee combat. Among the main features of the project, the developers note a high-impact combat system, a large number of legendary weapons and equipment, as well as co-op for three players.
The Counterplay team took on the creation of GodfallGames. The studio consists of 75 experienced developers who have worked on Destiny 2, Horizon Zero Dawn, Diablo III, Gears 5, Star Wars Battlefront, Titanfall 2, Halo 5, Battlefield 3, Bioshock Infinite, Call of Duty and Overwatch. Godfall is the studio's second project, and the team's first game released was Duelyst, a hybrid turn-based strategy and collectible card game.
The game will be released during the winter holidays of 2020 for PlayStation 5, as well as PC on the Epic Games Store. Judging by the release date, the project may be included in the launch line of games for the new Sony console.
