Researchers at the University of California, Berkeley say risks in older people are related to their age and environmental factors. The aging process differs even in identical twins over the age of 55.
The scientists assessed the effects of genetics and aging on 27 different tissues collected from 1,000 people. They found that aging affects 20 times more than genetics.
