Georgia launched the first Su-25 attack aircraft restored by its own forces into the sky.

The Su-25 will be used for both training and combat purposes.

In February 2021, the current minister Juansher Burchuladze announced the opening of an old aircraft plant. According to the head of the department, new planes will take off "every month."
