What is known

According to the Ukrainian Prime Minister, IRIS-Thas been working in Ukraine for a week and has already managed to save many lives. “Germany has already supplied us with the IRIS-T system. It has been in use for a week and has already saved many, many lives, especially in the Kyiv region. Unfortunately, at the moment we only have one such system, and we are looking forward to the next one. I hope it will be in November,” Shmygal noted.

Ukraine also needs ammunition for IRIS-T: those that came with the system have shot down a significant number of Russian missiles, and a new batch is just being produced.

To the question of when weapons are needed, it has not yet becomelate, the Prime Minister replied: “It is literally a matter of a few days. Every day the Russians use between 20 and 30 Iranian kamikaze drones against us. They are difficult to bring down. That's why we ask our partners for special jammers... There are devices that can fight these Iranian drones. We know who has them and we ask our partners.”
