German self-propelled guns PzH-2000 in the hands of the Armed Forces fire 1 shot every 8 seconds (video)

Another video has appeared on the Internet showing the effective operation of German PzH-2000 self-propelled guns in the hands of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

What is it this time

This time the video showed the work of the crewself-propelled artillery installation. According to analyst @Osinttechnical, Ukrainian defenders can fire 1 shot every 8 seconds. That is, the PzH-2000 is capable of firing about 10 shells per minute. This is an excellent performance indicator. For comparison, the Soviet self-propelled gun 2S1 “Gvozdika” fires 4-5 rounds per minute, and the S5 “Gyacinth-S” fires 5-6 rounds per minute.

Let us remind you that PzH-2000 (Panzerhaubitze 2000) is155-mm self-propelled gun-howitzer developed by the German concern Krauss-Maffei Wegmann. It was adopted by the Bundeswehr in the fall of 1998. It uses a 52-caliber (8 m) barrel, an automatic loading system with 60 rounds of ammunition, 228 modular propellant charges and a modern ground navigation system. The firing range of the Panzerhaubitze 2000 is 30-50 km (depending on the projectile).

Currently, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have 12 such self-propelled artillery units. They were given to us by Germany and the Netherlands. Another delivery is expected in the near future.
