Germany and the Netherlands plan to transfer a new batch of Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled guns to Ukraine

The German government is negotiating with the Netherlands to transfer to Ukraine a new batch of self-propelled

artillery installations Panzerhaubitze 2000. This was reported by the publication Handelsblatt.

Let us remind you that earlier Germany and the Netherlands handed over to us 12 such self-propelled guns. In addition, Ukraine wants to purchase another 100 units and is now waiting for permission to sell from Germany.

Let us remind you that the Panzerhaubitze 2000 is a 155 mmself-propelled gun-howitzer developed by the German concern Krauss-Maffei Wegmann. It was adopted by the Bundeswehr in the fall of 1998. It uses a 52-caliber (8 m) barrel, an automatic loading system with 60 rounds of ammunition, 228 modular propellant charges and a modern ground navigation system. The firing range of the Panzerhaubitze 2000 is 30-50 km (depending on the projectile).
