"Ghosts of old technology": how many Russians use outdated devices

In honor of Halloween, Citylink conducted a survey dedicated to the “ghosts of old technology,” that is, outdated

gadgets. It turned out that almost a quarter of Russians still have a landline phone at home.

True, only 9% of respondents use it for communication. They call friends and relatives.

7% of respondents admitted that they still watch movies and cartoons on DVD and VHS video players. 6% of Russians prefer to listen to music on MP3 and cassette players.

The researchers also learned that the Russians miss the game consoles Sega and Dendy. And for 5% of respondents, such retro consoles even remained in use.
