British automaker Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has announced plans to electrify its vehicles.

By 2025, the company promised to give upJaguar models from an internal combustion engine. In addition, six electric Land Rover SUVs will be launched over the next five years. The first model will be released onto the market in 2024. If everything goes according to plan, then by 2030, internal combustion engine Jaguar Land Rover vehicles will completely disappear from the market.

Currently there is only one in the Jaguar lineupelectric car - I-Pace (cover photo). The crossover was presented in 2018. It has a 90 kWh battery, a range of up to 470 km, a top speed of 200 km/h and two electric motors with a total output of 400 hp. From 0 to 100 km/h the car accelerates in 4.8 seconds.
