What and when to expect
Of course, for now this is just a short mention of new models, and not a full presentation. Both smartphones will support 5G and debut this fall.
“Pixel 4a (5G) and Pixel 5 will be available in the USA,Canada, UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Japan, Taiwan and Australia. In the coming months, we'll share more about these devices and our approach to 5G,” Google said in a blog post.
Smartphones already have a page on the Google Store. Anyone can subscribe to be among the first to learn new details.
The company also revealed the price of the 5G version of the Pixel 4a - from $499. Not cheap, since the regular Pixel 4a was priced at $349. Google has not yet admitted how much the Pixel 5 will cost.
