However, owners of the Pixel 6, Pixel 6a, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 7, and Pixel 7 Pro have started to report that the smartphones quickly lose charge and heat up significantly. Although now we understand that these events may not be related to each other in any way.
The company confirmed that the issue was with the Google app, as suspected. However, the new update is deployed on the server side and does not require user intervention.
