Google today rolled out a new version of the Gmail email client for G Suite users with many

useful changes.

What is known

Web version and proprietary application for Android andiOS has received an updated design and deep integration with Google Meet, Google Chat, Google Rooms and Google Docs services. They will be displayed in the lower panel. The first Mail tab is for mail. The second, called Chat, shows conversations, and the third, Rooms, shows group messages. Essentially, this is an analogue of Slack. Next is the Meet tab with reminders and video calls.
