Google has completely canceled its largest I / O conference due to coronavirus. The event will not be held either
In early March, it became known that I / O 2020 is notwill be held in a traditional offline format. Before this event was expected from May 12 to 14 in San Francisco. Almost two weeks ago, Google announced that it would look for alternative methods of holding the conference.
However, the latest announcement on the I / O website states that the event will not take place in any format. The company attributes this decision to concerns about the health of employees and the local population.
Google has promised that they will find other ways to share updates on their products. Perhaps through developer blogs and forums.
