Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin decided to resign from their parent company Alphabet.

This is reported in a press release from the holding.They have held their positions since the structure was founded in 2015. Page was CEO and Brin was president. Now the management of Alphabet will pass to Sundar Pichai, who is now also the CEO of Google.

Page and Brin are not resigning. They will continue to participate in the work of the holding, but now only as members of the board of directors. According to them, this decision will simplify the management structure of Alphabet.
