Google has confirmed that it is working on a budget smartphone Pixel 5a, but there is no need to wait for a new product anytime soon

Yesterday, insider Jon Prosser reported that Google had canceled the release of the Pixel 5a smartphone due to a shortage

Journalists from 9to5Google addressedcontacted the company for comment and Google responded that it was still planning to release the new product, but this would not take place in the summer, as was stated in previous leaks, but at the end of the year. In addition, a company representative added that the device will be released in the USA and Japan. For comparison, the current line of Pixel smartphones is sold in 10 countries around the world.
