The man noticed a swelling in the genital area of ​​his child and, at the request of the nurse, sent a photo. After examining the picture, the doctor prescribed antibiotics, which cured the infection.

Then two days later the man got a noticefrom Google, which stated that his accounts were suspended due to content that is "a serious violation of Google policy and may be illegal."

A Google spokesperson told reporters thatthe company only scans users' personal images if the user takes "some action," which apparently could include backing up images to Google Photos.
