Google is already working on Pixel 8 Pro, the novelty will receive Qualcomm's under-screen ultrasonic fingerprint scanner

his successor.

Dataminer @Za_Raczke shared the information.The new product carries the model number G10 and is at an early stage of development. The prototype of the device is similar to the current Pixel 7 Pro model. It has a 6.7-inch display with a resolution of 3120 x 1440 and a body with a length of 155 mm and a width of 71 mm.

Presumably, we are talking about the flagshipnext year - Pixel 8 Pro. According to the tipster, the device will boast an improved in-display fingerprint scanner. Instead of a conventional optical sensor, the new product will be equipped with a Qualcomm ultrasonic scanner. Such under-screen scanners can be found in flagship Samsung smartphones. The gadget will also be equipped with a BOE screen. Panels from this manufacturer are also used by Apple in some iPhone models.

Unfortunately, there are no other details about the new product yet.
