Google Maps gets AR Live View for better indoor orientation

Google has announced many new features for the Google Maps app.

innovation - Live View.This is an AR feature that allows you to better navigate in large rooms using your smartphone camera. It uses Street View photos as well as AI-powered Global Localization technology to determine location.

Thanks to this, Google will show suggestionsin real time directly on the device screen. You can use Live View in airports and shopping centers to find an elevator, terminal, ATM, toilet or other points. For now, this feature is only available in select US cities.

Coming soon to Google Mapsthe ability to build routes with a minimum amount of fuel use. The company also wants to add to the app options for roads with the lowest carbon emissions and information about the weather and air quality at the point of arrival.
