Disconnecting the battery can be difficult:The “tab” that is attached to it simply comes off and does not help remove the battery. The only option – use isopropyl alcohol to corrode the glue, and then use this “tab” again. The glue turned out to be quite strong.
Another problem can be the replacement of the port for the charger. This port is located on the bottom of the phone and is soldered to the board.
Google Pixel 6 Pro specialist rated bymaintainability 5.5 points out of 10 possible. This device proved to be more difficult to disassemble than the Pixel 6, especially in terms of removing the battery. In addition, after replacing the fingerprint scanner with one taken from another Pixel 6 Pro model, the system generated an error: that is, only the scanner that will be replaced at official Google service centers will work.
The expert also assessed from the point of viewmaintainability and other flagship models of Android smartphones. They all scored higher than the Pixel 6 Pro. Xiaomi 11T Pro has 8 points, Sony Xperia 10 III – 7 points, Asus Zenfone 8 also has 7 points, and Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G – 6 points.
