A prototype model of the Pixel 7 Pro has been examined to obtain details about its hardware, as well as...
Over the past few months, a small handfulpre-release prototypes of the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro managed to fall into the hands of people. Google has identified most of these leaks and remotely rebooted the devices, leaving them unusable, turning them into a “brick”.
The owner of one of these prototypes contactedowners of the "Google News" group on Telegram. The team then used the limited amount of information available – in particular, the logs that are generated when you try to boot the phone, as well as the code of the bootloader itself – to unearth some additional specs of the Pixel 7 Pro.
According to the post, the second-generation Tensor chip has four low-level cores for simple tasks, two mid-range cores, and two powerful processor cores that do the bulk of the work.
In addition, the Pixel 7 Pro should be equipped with the Cirrus Logic CS40L26 touch sensor, which is one generation newer than the one found in the Pixel 6 Pro.
Finally, the group claims the Pixel 7 Pro prototype specs use the Samsung S6E3HC4 display, which is also a generation taller than the display in the Pixel 6 Pro.
