What is known
As the name suggests, the device isa simplified version of regular Pixel Buds. The headphones received the exact same appearance, the same 12mm drivers, IPX4 protection and even the same battery life: 5 hours without a case and up to 24 hours with it. Google also left in the Pixel Buds A the Fast Pair function for quickly connecting to smartphones and Adaptive Sound technology, which adjusts the sound depending on the environment. Pixel Buds A are distinguished by the absence of wireless charging. In addition, the new product does not have the ability to change the sound directly from the headphones and the Attention Alerts function.
Price and when to wait
Google Pixel Buds A have already appeared on the manufacturer’s official website in two colors and with a price tag of $99. By comparison, regular Pixel Buds cost $179.
