Google Play Music Stops Working: What To Do With Your Playlists

Google announces that the company is finally saying goodbye to its music service Google Play Music.

will finally stop operating from October to the end of December this year. Before this happens, notifications will be sent to all users.

After 30 days it will no longer be possible to download or uploadmusic in the Download Manager. At the same time, the music store on Google Play will cease to operate. You will no longer be able to purchase music there and all pre-orders will be cancelled.

What to do?

Users are encouraged to migrate to YouTube Music, which was officially introduced in March 2018. It was developed by the same team as Google Play Music.

Downloaded and purchased music, as well asthe list of tracks, playlists and radio stations in the music library can be downloaded or transferred to YouTube Music. To do this, select “Transfer” in the latest application or open the transfer page in your browser.
