Google will abandon the old voice search in favor of the Assistant

According to recent changes, the familiar microphone icon in the Google search bar may soon be a thing of the past.

On some smartphones, the old “Voice Search”Google has changed its "Assistant" logo. The prompt is also different: instead of “Say Ok, Google,” the app shows “Ask Your Assistant.” The same familiar interface opens as before, but the search is now performed by the assistant, and the result is displayed in a separate panel.
