Some time later, Google announced another security breach that affected 52.5 million users. But the problem was quickly fixed.
In October 2018, a lawsuit was filed against Googleclass action lawsuit over leak. Initially, only a few people signed up, but as a result, the number of plaintiffs increased to 1.72 million. All of them are Google+ account holders who suffered or could have suffered from Google’s negligence.
Last year, the company agreed to pay compensation in the amount of $7.5 million, and now the money has begun to flow into the accounts. True, ordinary users received pennies - only $2.15 each.
The four people who started this business and werethe first applicants will receive a little more - $1.5 thousand each. But most of the total amount will go towards paying lawyers, administrative expenses, etc.
