According to new information, Tensor may bean unreleased Exynos processor, just with a different name. The fact is that its code name is Whitechapel, and the same name is Exynos 9855, which Samsung has been working on for more than a year.

Google's chip is expected to performwill be somewhere in between the Exynos 2100 and the upcoming Exynos 2200 - chips that are prepared for the flagship Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S22 families. This fits perfectly into the release schedules of these three lines - Exynos 2100 in early 2021, Tensor in late 2021, Exynos 2200 in early 2022.
