Greetings from the past: LG Style3 - a new smartphone with a processor two years ago and an old design

LG presented a rather strange smartphone LG Style3 in Japan.

What's strange? Firstly,

The “heart” of the smartphone is the Snapdragon processor845, which was installed in flagships back in 2018. Of course, it is still relevant, but since then the Snapdragon 855, Snapdragon 855+ and Snapdragon 865 chips or more budget options have already been released.

Secondly, LG Style3 already has a boring unibrow, which smartphone manufacturers, fortunately, left in 2018.

Otherwise, this is an ordinary average smartphoneprice segment with modest characteristics: 6.1-inch OLED display with QHD+ resolution (3120×1440 pixels), a regular fingerprint scanner on the rear panel, 4/64 GB of memory (+ support for microSD memory cards up to 512 GB) and a battery with a capacity of 3500 mAh Another plus is water protection according to IP68 and IPX5 standards.

The front camera is 8-megapixel, the main one has two modules: a 48-megapixel sensor and an auxiliary 5-megapixel sensor. There is also an NFC module.

How many?

LG Style3 is priced at $350/€320. There are Aurora White and Mirror Black colors to choose from. Whether the smartphone will be released outside Japan is still unknown.
