Guitar is 3D printed

Despite the size of the printer, which is only 300 x 300 mm, the researcher was able to design the guitar body in the form of sections,

It took him 60 hours to make all the parts, and the longest elementThe self-taught designer notes that with the greater use of shrink inserts, such an instrumentwill become "incredibly durable".

However, the plastic body of the guitar thatthe researcher has printed - this is only half of the process. Inside the guitar's center cavity are two strips of RGB LEDs, an OLED screen, and a custom PCB that carries voltage regulators.

The board connects to the sound from the guitar and uses Fast Fourier Transform to make the LEDs respond to rhythm.

Previously, scientists presented a penwhich allows you to draw in 3D using metal and wood. Researchers note that the device is now available not only for professionals, but also for amateurs. The dual drive system allows you to 3D print not only from ordinary plastic, but also from bronze, copper, nylon and wood. Engineers note that this pen can be used for architecture, design, or even planning renovation work.

The device includes high-precision settingsspeed and temperature, they can be adjusted thanks to the display on the handle itself. The magnetic bottom allows easy access to internal components. The researchers note that this version of the pen will last longer and can be used to create more complex shapes, although the company has yet to publish the quantitative metrics they were able to achieve with the new device.
