Western information security experts have discovered a new and rather dangerous method of hacking
Potential victims receive a presentation inMicrosoft PowerPoint format on a topic related to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. In the presentation, you can find two slides with instructions for using the translator in Zoom meetings in English and French.
The trick and danger of the method lies in the fact thatthat the victim does not even need to click on the link and go to any resource. It is enough just to hover over the link, after which the virus immediately starts.
The link is said to launch a Graphite virus that uses the Microsoft Graph API and OneDrive to communicate with the command and control server.
Experts have already accused hackers of being related to Russia.
