Filming has begun in Iceland for the second season of Paramaunt's Halo series. There are several changes in the cast of the series
Joseph Morgan will join the castJoseph Morgan (The Vampire Diaries and The Originals) and Cristina Rodlo from last year's No. The series also has a new showrunner: David Wiener replaces Steven Kane.
Morgan will play James Ackerson, a UNSC career operative, while Rodlo will play Talia Perez, an aspiring linguist.
The series' first season left mixedimpressions, as an attempt to cram the atmosphere and mystery of the Halo games into a structured, easy-to-watch story resulted in a calm and suggestive sci-fi show. Let's see if we are surprised by the sequel.
