Harley-Davidson Serial 1 finally launches Number One electric bike with retro styling

In honor of this, she showed a magnificent prototype.Unfortunately, production models have lost much of the Number One's retro charm, but the company has now addressed that issue by releasing a limited run of the original concept, rebadged as the S1 MOSH/TRIBUTE.

The Number One was reportedly based on the oldest known Harley-Davidson motorcycle on display at the brand's museum in Milwaukee.

Most of the limited edition biketaken from the MOSH / CITY model, which means pedaling assistance is provided by a 250-watt Brose S-Mag motor and torque sensor. Cyclists can look forward to 90 Nm (66 lb-ft) of torque and the ability to accelerate to 20 mph in the US and 25 km / h in Europe.

Removable 529 lithium-ion batteryThe Wh built into the frame is designed for a “true range of 35-105 miles (56-168 km)”. A Gates Carbon belt drive connects the crank to a single-speed freewheel hub at the rear, and stopping power is provided by hydraulic disc brakes front and rear, each with 203mm rotors.

The retro bike is fitted with exclusive white Schwalbe Super Moto-X tires on 27.5-inch alloy rims.

Only 650 copies will be produced, whichwill go on sale equally in the US and Europe. While MOSH/CTY retails for the relatively high price of $3,799, the new Limited Edition costs $5,999. Deliveries are expected to begin in the 4th quarter.
