Helio P35: MediaTek officially unveiled the new processor

Taiwanese chipmaker MediaTek, without much fanfare, introduced the new Helio P35 chip, which hit the headlines along with

announcement of the Mi Play smartphone from Xiaomi. The processor, according to the manufacturer, is designed to work with full-screen smartphones; it supports Full HD+ screen resolution. The chipset received an 8-core processor with a frequency of 2.3 gigahertz, and a PowerVR GE8320 video accelerator with a frequency of 680 megahertz. At the same time, the memory controller can work with both LPDDR3 and LPDDR4x generation. This will enable smartphone (or tablet) manufacturers to have a more flexible approach to the layout of their devices in terms of performance and cost. This means a wider range of consumers with different needs and financial capabilities.

The processor is created on the technical process of 12 nanometers.at the facilities of TSMC. With the support of photo capabilities of the processor, too, everything is in order, Helio P35 understands (really) double modules, can display images from them, reduce and process. Image processing from the sensor with a maximum resolution of 25 megapixels. Understands the stabilization system, there is a model AI, which is involved in image processing.

In addition, the processor supports the current4G mobile network standard, all existing global bands. Works with two sim cards VoLTE / ViLTE. There is also support for the exotic range of 600 megahertz, which is still used in the North American region. The remaining wireless technologies are also present, including the fifth version of Bluetooth and four satellite navigation systems.
