Here's a twist: Dodge is about to launch the world's first electric muscle car

Dodge, as part of the Stellantis: EV Day 2021 event, announced that it was going to launch the first

world's electric muscle car.

What is known

At the presentation, Dodge executive directorTimothy Kuniskis showed the first teaser of the new product. In the video you can see some details of the car. Apparently, the car will be similar in appearance to the first generation Dodge Charger (cover photo), which was released on the market in the late 60s. In addition, the car will receive a new glowing logo.

Interestingly, Dodge won't name the car.electric vehicle (EV). It will be placed in a separate new class - eMuscle. As for the characteristics, according to rumors, the car will receive an 800+ hp engine. and will be able to travel 500-800 km on a single charge.

When to expect

Unfortunately, you shouldn’t expect an announcement of the new product in the near future. If everything goes according to plan, the car will be released on the market in 2024.
