With the new feature, you can decide for yourselfwhat is displayed in the recommendations. The changes are already valid in versions for Android and iOS, and will soon appear in the web version. YouTube seems to have borrowed a feature from Netflix. Now users will be able to find out why a particular video is displayed in their recommendations.
Hide channels from YouTube recommendations
- Open the YouTube app on your iOS device.
- Find a video from a channel that you don’t like and click on the button in the form of three dots.
- Select "Do not recommend videos from this channel."
At the top of the home page, you can select the categories of interest to you. The new function does not solve all the problems of selecting recommendations, but now you can at least eliminate unwanted content yourself.
YouTube often displays in recommendations not interesting to you and even scandalous content. Now you can solve this problem once and for all.
