HMD Global announced the launch date for the new Nokia smartphone on December 5th.

The event may show Nokia 2.3, Nokia 5.2 or Nokia 8.2. There is no information about the first two new products, but some details of Nokia 8.2 are known.

The device, if rumors are to be believed, will be the firstsmartphones on the market, which will be equipped with a Snapdragon 735 processor. This SoC should also be shown in early December. It will most likely have an integrated 5G modem, eight cores and will be built using an 8 or 7 nm process technology.

In addition to the new processor, Nokia 8.2 is also credited with a main camera with several modules and a 64 megapixel main sensor, as well as a pop-up front camera. The smartphone will be released in three memory configurations with 4/6/8 GB of RAM and 64/128/256 GB of ROM. The new product should work out of the box on Android 10 OS.
