A photo of the device was published by the officialmanufacturer's Weibo page. The new product has a gradient Icelandic Fantasy body color, a triple camera, and a body with a weight of 172 g and a thickness of 7.7 mm. At the same time, the smartphone has a 4000 mAh battery.

The smartphone will also receive 6.3-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution, in-display fingerprint scanner, Kirin 810 chip, 4/6/8 GB of RAM and 64/128/256 GB of ROM. The main camera in Honor 20 SE will be 48 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP, and the front camera, in turn, will be 8 MP. It will be placed on the teardrop-shaped neckline. The smartphone is also credited with 20 W fast charging, a USB-C port and Android 9 Pie with the proprietary EMUI 10 shell on board.
