Honor 80, 80 Pro and 80 Pro + will receive three different chipsets

The Digital Chat Station informant continues to replenish the knowledge base about the upcoming sub-flagship Honor 80 series. Previously

he reported that the older Honor 80 Pro+ (namepresumably) will be able to boast of the top-end Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, and today it clarified the Honor 80 and 80 Pro chips. Allegedly, they will be based on the newly introduced MediaTek Dimensity 1080 and a modification of the Snapdragon 778G, referred to in the documents as SM7325-Max. Thus, Honor 80 will become the fourth generation of the series, equipped with Snapdragon 778G chips - they were first used in Honor 50. Another important feature of the series, according to the source, will be 100-W charging. The debut of the Honor 80 trio is expected towards the end of the year, but for now the company is preparing to launch the Honor X40 GT.
