Honor 9X will be released in Europe with a triple camera, an old processor and no Google services

Huawei sub-brand showed the Honor 9X smartphone in July, and is now preparing to release the device for international

market. But, as it turned out, outside the Middle Kingdom it will be a slightly different smartphone with different characteristics.

What have changed

Previously, we wrote that in Europe, the Honor 9Xwill receive a fingerprint scanner located not on the side, but on the back. And now insider Sudhanshu Ambhore reports that there will be differences within.

First of all, this is a different platform. If the Chinese Honor 9X has a Kirin 810 processor installed, then his brother will have an old Kirin 710F.

But in the main camera, the changes are positive: it will not be double, but triple. The global version of Honor 9X will have sensors at 48 MP (f / 1.8), 8 MP and 2 MP. The front camera is still retractable at 16 MP.

The remaining specifications are the same as those of the Chinese model: 6.59-inch IPS display with Full HD + resolution, 4000 mAh battery, NFC.

Another bad news for potentialbuyers will be the lack of pre-installed Google services. The fact is that the smartphone came out in the midst of a conflict between the US and China and did not manage to get Google certification.

Price

According to an insider, the Honor 9X with 4/128 GB of memory was rated at € 220- € 240. When exactly the smartphone will debut on the international market is still unknown.
