Honor CEO George Zhao was interviewed by a Chinese newspaper in which he shared

some of the company's plans after the separation from Huawei.

What told

Zhao confirmed an earlier rumor thatthe manufacturer is going to revive the Honor Magic line of smartphones. The new device will become the brand's top device. Zhao believes that he will compete with smartphones of the Huawei Mate and Huawei P series, and in some moments even surpass them, because he will be able to use Qualcomm and Google technologies.

The CEO did not disclose details about the smartphone. He only added that the novelty will be released this year. The flagship Honor Magic should be powered by the Snapdragon 888 chip.

By the way, besides smartphones, Honor also plans to release Magicbook laptops. The manufacturer has already agreed to cooperate with several American companies, including Intel and AMD.
