Honor CEO George Zhao gave an interview to a Chinese publication in which he shared

some of the company's plans after separation from Huawei.

Zhao confirmed an earlier rumor thatthat the manufacturer is going to revive the Honor Magic line of smartphones. The new device will become the brand's top device. Zhao believes that it will compete with Huawei Mate and Huawei P series smartphones, and in some aspects even surpass them, because it will be able to use Qualcomm and Google technologies.

The CEO did not disclose details about the smartphone. He only added that the new product will be released this year. The flagship Honor Magic should be powered by the Snapdragon 888 chip.

By the way, in addition to smartphones, Honor also plans to release Magicbook laptops. The manufacturer has already agreed on cooperation with several American companies, including Intel and AMD.
