Honor is preparing an inexpensive sub-flagship on the best current Qualcomm chip

As it became known recently, this winter Honor plans to release not only the Magic 5 series camera phones, but also

sub-flagship Honor 80 family, which canviolate the principles Sony and Honor announced several years earlier. On the other hand, there is one definitely positive news, which the Digital Chat Station informant is in a hurry to share today. As if to confirm his earlier words about Qualcomm’s intention to send the top-end Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 to the sub-flagship segment, he announced a certain new product from Honor, which “is not positioned too highly and will be released at the end of the year.”

It is unlikely that we are talking about the Magic 5 series, inwhich the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will look much better, which means that the most likely candidate for getting the current top chip is the older model of the Honor 80 series (most likely Honor 80 Pro or 80 Pro+). Thus, the series may receive the strongest upgrade in recent years.
