Honor Pad 8 out of China: 12-inch tablet with Snapdragon 680 chip for $313

Following the Honor 70, the Chinese manufacturer introduced another novelty at the global presentation -

Honor Pad 8 tablet.

What is known

The gadget received a thin metal case with a thickness of only 6.9 mm. The device is equipped with a 12-inch LCD display with 2K resolution, 350 nits brightness and TUV Rheinland certification.

Under the hood of the tablet runs an eight-coreSnapdragon 680 processor paired with 6 RAM and 128 GB of ROM. The Honor Pad 8 is powered by a 7250 mAh battery. It supports 22.5W fast charging and 5W reverse charging. The gadget also has eight speakers with support for DTS:X Ultra, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS, USB Type-C and two cameras: a 5 MP main camera and a 5 MP front camera.

Out of the box, the new product has the Android 12 operating system and the proprietary Magic UI 6.1 shell.

Price and when to wait

Honor Pad 8 will go on sale on August 27, but so far only in Malaysia. The tablet will cost $313.
